How It Works

Once connected to the circuit, VERIFIER passes an audible tone through the circuit under test. This tone is picked up by the supplied inductive amplifier which enables the engineer to listen out for, find and follow hidden cables quickly and easily.

Also, the tone generated by VERIFIER varies in pitch according to the resistance of the circuit. As the resistance increases, so does the tone. This makes audible testing and identifying resistance faults on all manner of devices very easy. Why bother having the hassle of checking your meter’s display when you can quickly walk test and listen out for and locate faults first time?

Main Features

• The audible tone passed through the circuit by VERIFIER can be heard within 30cm (1 foot) away from the hidden cable or device using the supplied inductive amplifier
• There are 3 variable resistance tones generated by VERIFIER according to resistance
• Tones generated are Low 0Ω to High 250Ω, Low <250Ω to High 25KΩ and Low <25KΩ to High 250KΩ
• When testing , any resistance change will be heard instantly
• A high pitch ‘open-circuit’ tone enables resistance breaks on the cable or device to be pinpointed easily
• Easily identifies the difference between good, bad and intermittent faults
• All manner of faults can be located quickly including varying resistance, loose connections, damaged cables, circuit breaks and defective devices during commissioning and maintence inspections
• Also makes identifying devices connected to unmarked circuits quick and easy when performing take-over inspections and troubleshooting first-fix installations
